| Aeroplane - We can't fly |
Usually I would just post about a band or an artist but if I'm honest I haven't looked into all the songs from "AEROPLANE" but I am in LOVE with this song! It was played on Skins (yes, I'm a fan of the make believe thing, I'm forever going to raves, eating cocaine like a sherbet dip dab and casually firing at rocks in the middle of a field!) Anyway right at the start and the moment I'd listened to it I was googling the lyrics to track it down - it took a lot of effort to find the full version but I did it...(Hold your applauds!)
This song reminds me of 'This is England '86'; kind of has that hippy/stoner/80s feel to it which I really like..... good song to chill to too. Does anyone else wish they were in their 20's in the 80's? What i would do to be back there with the mods and punks, boyish hair cuts, checked shirts buttoned up to the top, rolled up jeans, doc martins..brilliant! Whilst I've been writing this I have listened to some of their other songs too, they're actually pretty decent! One of my favourite bands is Cut Copy, an Australian band that i'll post about next.. they use slow electronic beats as well in a way so its chilled - not as slow as AIR but relaxed enough to have in the back ground. I will post a song with this now and possibly write about Cut Copy later if I get the chance! Enjoyyyy!
